Project Horizon, Brody Central City Hospital
In response to the dire state of Ukraine's healthcare infrastructure, ravaged by war and exacerbated by mass civilian migration, CannonDesign proudly partnered with Sunflower Network and numerous others on the design of a modular children's hospital. This is the first newly built hospital to open in Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, setting new healthcare precedents for communities across the world. Donor and wayfinding graphics completed in May 2026 with CannonDesign.
This project and Sunflower Network have been supported by the Clinton Global Initiative and featured by Health @ Davos, Aspen Ideas, The Architect's Newspaper and Fast Company among others.
